Stall and Layout Planner

Pick the number of stalls, aisle width and support rooms and see a top-down plan with the building size you will need.

These tools give planning-level estimates from typical values. They are not quotes, engineering or final designs, and results depend on your actual land, local rules and choices. We confirm everything with a free site visit and precise drawings.

How it works

Four quick steps.

  1. 01

    Choose the number of stalls

From one to twelve stalls, on one or both sides of an aisle.

  2. 02

Set stall size and aisle width

Common choices are 12 by 12 foot stalls and a 12 foot aisle.

  3. 03

    Add support rooms

Tack room, feed room, wash stall and hay storage.

  4. 04

    See the building size

The planner draws the layout and shows the footprint you will need.

Tips

  • Twelve by twelve is a common stall size for an average horse.
  • A 12 foot aisle is safer and easier to work in than a narrow one.
  • Plan the wash stall and feed room near the entrance for easy chores.
